Pumpkin fun! 🍂

This week in Hedgehogs, we have been having lots of autumn fun as we explored all things pumpkin! 🎃🍂
The children have enjoyed a range of activities, including drawing and painting pumpkins, using their phonics knowledge to listen for and identify the sounds they could hear in the word pumpkin, and decorating pumpkins with playdough!
In our investigation area, the children explored real pumpkins and talked about the signs of autumn, pumpkin patches, harvest time, and the changing weather. They used their imaginations to make delicious pumpkin soups, pies!🥧
It has been wonderful to see the children so engaged, curious, and excited to learn about the season through meaningful and playful experiences. We look forward to continuing our autumn adventures over the coming weeks! 🍁🧡🎃
