Forest School Week 3 Camp building.
This week children have built and designed their own camps, collaboratively working together with their ideas and designs.The children have had so much fun cooking pizzas, cakes etc in the mud kitchen too.

Bushcraft Week 2 camp building.
This week the children worked together to create a shelter or to put up a big tent. The children collaborated and utilised their team building skills. They worked hard with their creations. Well done bushcraft.
Bushcraft week 1
This week the children were allowed to explore the surrounding environment, giving them an insight to their surroundings by bug hunting, cooking in the mud kitchen and building dens. We even issued our first bushcraft head teachers award for amazing den building.
Week 4 Bushcraft
This week we have been developing our woodland area, having free play fun with the mud kitchen and we have built two bug hotels. The children have learnt to work together as a team, built resilience and formed outdoor relationships.
Week 3 Bushcraft
This week at bushcraft we have been learning to make and light a fire using a flint and steel. This has been great for their team building skills, persistence and resilience.
Term 5 Week 1 Bushcraft
This week we went on a nature walk around the school collecting sticks. Played some Bushcraft team building games and had fun climbing trees.
Week 5 Bushcraft – creative week.
Years 3, 4 & 5 made fat ball feeders for the birds. This enhanced their sensory and creative skills.Year 2 found natural materials to make creative pictures.

This week years 5,4,3 & 2 have been busy making bow and arrows. This has been great for their coordination, resilience and perseverance.
