In Literacy this week, the children revisited their understanding of main clauses and how to build complex sentences by adding subordinating clauses. They enjoyed working collaboratively, sharing ideas and supporting one another to construct a range of sentences. It was wonderful to see their confidence with this prior learning, and this was clearly reflected in their finished pieces of writing, which included some fantastic complex sentences.
