The children had a fantastic day celebrating World Book Day. They enjoyed watching the live BBC show and took part in a variety of exciting activities throughout the day. The children created a Canva presentation about the character they dressed up as, or a favourite character from a book they love. We then played a game of ‘Who Am I?’, where the class tried to guess each other’s chosen characters.

After this, the children worked in groups to create their own book, thinking carefully about the front cover, characters and plot. To finish the activity, they used iMovie to produce a trailer for their book, bringing their creative ideas to life. It was wonderful to see their enthusiasm for reading and storytelling. 📚✨
