School Info

We take our responsibility to safeguard our pupils - your children - while they are on our site very seriously. Therefore, please remember that if you come to the school, it is essential that, as with all other visitors, you report to reception so that you can be signed in and accompanied by school staff should you need to visit another part of the building. This also protects you should there be an emergency, such as fire.

Remember you can always find out more information about education from:

Community Worship

Community WorshipAt Sturry we celebrate our Christian faith with acts of worship on a daily basis. We would love to invite you to share in our Thursday act of worship which is usually led by a visitor such as Captain Nunn, The Rector or Peter Freeman. We begin at 10.20 and finish at 10.40 - all would be welcome.

Bishop Trevor awarded some certificates

We were privileged to meet Bishop Trevor Willmott, the Bishop of Dover when he led a recent Act of Worship. The children thoroughly enjoyed learning about the life of a bishop and three lucky pupils were invited to carry the symbols of a bishop which were an amethyst ring, a pectoral cross and a crook. Bishop Trevor was impressed with the school's superb singing. Afterwards he met the staff and governors and then had a chance to tour the school.

Suggestion Box

A number of parents have approached me on the school gate in the mornings with various suggestions/ideas for the school. A suggestion box is positioned in the foyer area together with pens/postcards for you to put forward suggestions to improve the school. Please ensure that you put your name on the card so that we can contact you should we need to discuss suggestions further.

Alternatively, you can always e-mail me your ideas: headofschool@sturry.kent.sch.uk
